Frozen goodies

Pretty cold today, found a lot of half empty cans and bottles - everything frozen!

'Tis the season...

... to drink more than usual obviously. We four a lot of empty wine and hard liquor bottles, Vodka, Bourbon, etc.

Quick pick up by car

No time to walk this weekend, but George stopped his car to pick up the most obvious items.

Thanksgiving Trashwalk

A car seemed to have slipped off the embankment and crashed into a tree. Looked like a toe truck got most of it out, but there was still a lot for us to pull up to the street and and to discard.
Other than that 3 additional bags of trash.

Suddenly the sun came out and  it was beautiful! Best weather to clean up the road.

...the sides of the road are finally mowed and revealed their treasures:

Off to another treasure hunt

It was hot and uneventful - no wildlife sightings and now exciting discoveries.

Shorter walk due to the heat

We started at 8:00 AM but didn't walk all the way to the Ivy Nursery - it was way too hot!

Not much out there right now

Despite our best efforts we found only one and a half bag full of trash. There must be tons hidden underneath the weeds!

Still not mowed...

Only 2 bags - that can't be right!

It's hard to find something, the weeds are so high. We still managed to fill one big bag:

Despite our best efforts we only came up with one bag of trash (although it was pretty big). No reason to go out there again until they mow down the weeds for better visibility.

Cought in the rain

In the afternoon the rain finally stopped and we went out on our way. Found a couple of trashy treasures like 3 full diapers and to hub caps. And got caught by one of those surprise scattered showers. We've never been that wet ever!
