Winter trash

Old Ballard Road presented itself in the best light.

We could only pick what was was on top of the snow or clearly visible.

We found a really old plastic bottle in the creek. Getting it out was physically a little bit demanding.

In the end we ended up with a nicely filled plastic bag.

No trash picking due to snow

Old Ballard Road looks beautiful. But we can't see any trash due to lovely snow.

Trash picking in the snow

What a cold Sunday. Light snow, it looked very pretty. We went early, 9:00 AM. The walk to Broomley Bridge and back usually takes about 2 hours and 14 minutes, but with our new grabbers it takes about 3 hours now. Our harvest was pretty good - we filled up 5 bags with trash! And we seem to have an anonymous helper: One bag was already taken away before I could document it! We left it around Martins Farm Road, who ever took it - thank you!

We thought we found it all...

...but we found even more! I have to admit - the trash grabbers Santa Claus brought us for Christmas increased the fun. We were able to fill a contractors bag. Forgot to take my phone with me, so here is the final load (notice old beer running out of the bottom of the bag - yuck!)
