A beautiful sunny Sunday in February

And we went out for a beautiful walk. 6 bags of trash were filled. We decided to walk back a bit along the train tracks starting at Ivy Nursery. Lots of trash next to the tracks! We didn't even start picking up - it was just too much. We also discovered a huge pile of old tires. Also interesting is the fact, that Old Ballard Road seems to get washed out from a drainage pipe underneath. See the pictures below.

 

 

 

It's getting kind of frustrating

It seems like there is no end to it. Just a day after our last walk we saw litter on the side of the street. And it all added up, so we collected 6 bags this Sunday.

We went on the 22nd of December and on the 1st of January and here's what e collected:

 

 

 

And we had a beautiful encounter with a Blue Heron :-)

Last Sunday...

...was successful as any other Sunday. Which I could say "we barely filled one bag" one day.

We found lot's of goodies, old and new. The amount of aluminum cans hidden in these bags doesn't really show since we step on them to reduce them in size.

A beautiful autumn day!

There was a lot out there to discover, and I'm sure we found only half of it because everything is covered with leaves.
